Day-to-day visibility requires industry standard tools to track, monitor, and provide insights into project status. Genisys uses:

• Web enabled project dashboards
  Log in to an extranet, view project status, down to the level of daily code check-ins and time sheets.
• Configuration management
  Depending on project needs, a variety of configuration management and version control tools, including Microsoft VSS, CVS, and more.
• Project Planning
  Developing and tracking project plans is accomplished with Microsoft Project; additionally, templates for project management plans cover all checklists involved.
• Estimation
  Traditional estimation models and Function Point (FP) models are used for project estimation – after business criticality, complexity and estimated effort required to design and code the functionality are considered. Projects are re-estimated post initiation, as and when changes or clearer definitions of scope become apparent.
• Bug Tracking
  Test Director, Bugzilla and other tools prescribed by you can be used for defect and bug tracking.
• Software development and testing
  Depending on technology and your preference, we use a variety of development tools and IDEs - WebSphere studio, Ant, Microsoft.Net, Test Director, Win Runner, Load Runner and more.
